1.Ordinary passport holders wishing to visit China are required to apply visa at the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC). Following is the basic information of the CVASC.

Business Hours: 9:00am---16:00pm (except on public holidays)

Submission: 9:00am---15:00pm (rush applications should be submitted before 12:00 noon)

2.The Chinese Embassy will not accept walk-in applications for Chinese ordinary visa, and only accept a limited number of that applications with online appointment(if fully booked, you have to apply at CVASC). Please bring along the receipt of appointment to the Chinese Embassy to process your visa.

3.Please do not send visa application by post to the Embassy. The CVASC accepts visa application sent by post.

4.Applicants holding diplomatic, service or official passport, or who are qualified to apply for the Chinese diplomatic, service or courtesy visa, or who apply for Hong Kong visa / entry permit and Macao visa still submit the application directly to the Embassy.
