On April 23, 2012, Ambassador Li Ruiyu met with Uffe Toudal Pedersen, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education. Both sides agreed that China-Denmark cooperation in science, technology and education has been expanding and deepening over the recent years, and has constituted an important part of the overall bilateral relations. They expressed the will to make concerted efforts for further progress in the cooperation.
