Ambassador Deng Ying Calls on Prime Minister of Denmark

On August 30th, 2017, Ambassador Deng Ying called on Mr. Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Prime Minister of Denmark. They held cordial and amiable dialogue on China-Denmark Relations.

Prime Minister Rasmussen welcomed Ambassador Deng as the new Chinese Ambassador to Denmark and applauded 2017 Denmark-China Tourism Year. He highlighted the emphasis that Danish Government attach to the development of Denmark-China relations and would join the Chinese side in enriching the contents of Denmark-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, pushing forward pragmatic cooperation as well as boosting cultural and people-to-people exchanges.

Ambassador Deng thanked His Excellency Prime Minister Rasmussen for the courtesy call and appreciated this special arrangement. She expressed her honor in serving as the new Chinese Ambassador to Denmark at an important phase of bilateral relations. She highly commended the sound momentum of the progress of China-Denmark relations, with the mutual political trust constantly intensified and pragmatic cooperation on all fronts pushing forward steadily. She expressed that China is willing to work with Denmark to take the opportunity of the 10th Anniversary of China-Denmark Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to further strengthen bilateral ties.
