Ambassador Deng Ying Meets with Minister for Independence, Foreign Affairs and Agriculture of Greenland Self-Government

On January 9th, Ambassador Deng Ying met with Minister for Independence, Foreign Affairs and Agriculture of Greenland Self-Government Ms. Suka K. Frederiksen and her delegation. They had a cordial and friendly conversation.

Ms. Frederik noted Mr. Kim Kielsen, Premier of Greenland Self-Government just concluded a successful visit to China, expanding channels for exchanges, and was impressed with the economic, social and ecological achievements in China. She emphasized that Greenland is willing to work together with China to seize the current momentum to further the exchanges in all fields and promote the practical cooperation.

Ambassador Deng congratulated on Premier Kielsen’s successful visit to China and stressed that Socialism with Chinese Characteristics has entered a new era and provides important opportunities for furthering China-Denmark relations. She noted that China attaches importance to local exchanges including that with Greenland and the two sides should take the opportunity of the 10th anniversary of China-Denmark comprehensive strategic partnership to enhance exchanges and deepen the cooperation in fields such as culture,tourism and Arctic affairs.
