Chinese Ambassador to Denmark Deng Ying attended National Day and Mid-autumn Festival celebration hosted by Overseas Chinese Association of Denmark

On September 24th, Chinese ambassador to Denmark H.E. Mme. Deng Ying attended Chinese National Day and Mid-autumn Festival celebration hosted by Overseas Chinese Association of Denmark. Counsellors for Politics, Culture, Commerce, Science and Technology, and director of Educational section, together with over 150 guests representing overseas Chinese and scholars attended the celebration of the 68th birthday of P.R. China and Mid-autumn Festival. Before the celebration, Ambassador Deng visited the premise of the Overseas Chinese Association and the classrooms of the Chinese schools.

Ambassador Deng, in her speech, presented her holiday greetings to overseas Chinese in Denmark, and highly commented their contributions for years in caring for country’s development, carrying on Chinese traditional cultures. Chinese Embassy in Denmark will continually provide and create more, greater and higher platforms for the overseas Chinese to support them in demonstrating their talents,telling “Chinese Stories” and spreading“Chinese Voice”.


Ambassador Deng emphasized that the 19th National Congress of CPC, which would be convened in Beijing in mid-October, would be a major event in China’s political life. The Congress will draw up guidelines for actions and major policies that meet the requirements of the times, leading Chinese people on the march towards the Two Centenary Goals. Ambassador Deng encouraged overseas Chinese to play their strengths to make greater contributions in the realization of Two Centenary Goals and the Chinese Dream of the rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation.


Yanbiao Lin, Chairman of Danish Overseas Chinese Association and Heidi Wang, Copenhagen City councilor also made speeches, wishing China prosperity and holiday happiness of local Chinese.
